FORREST R. PATIN, Ph.D. Business Administration


Forrest Patin has more than 40 years of management experience in the beverage industry. He has held senior field sales positions for over fifteen years with the Miller Brewing Company.

Forrest has vast experience in making sales and motivational presentations. In just over 15 years he has given over 4,500 presentations. His motivational talks, called ROAD SHOWS, earned him the prestigious Philip Morris Silver Ring award for sales and revenue contributions made to the company.

As President of the Center for Professional Development, his company is chartered to develop excellence in people and in companies. The company offers a wide selection of seminars that engage and challenge the attendees.

Mr. Patin attended the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a dual major in Marketing and Transportation Management. He has a Masters Degree from Hamilton University in Business Administration. In 2003 he received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Hamilton University. His 545 page dissertation was titled: How to Manage and Develop a Successful Field Sales Organization. In addition to his degrees, he has accumulated post-graduate courses from Stanford University, University of Chicago Graduate School, and the University of Virginia Colgate-Darden Business School. He has completed the Advanced Coaching courses from the Coaches Training Institute in San Rafael, CA. He has been a member of the American Society of Training and Development and the International Coaching Federation. He was a guest teacher in 1983 & 1984 at Georgetown University teaching marketing to undergraduate and graduate students.

Mr. Patin is married and has one child. He and his family live in Reno, Nevada.



Jack Mills has more than 25 years of successful management experience in the
consumer products beverage industry. He has held senior management positions in
sales/marketing and training & development with the country's number two brewer
(Miller Brewing Company) and with the number one beer importer to the United
States (Corona Extra). In addition, Mr. Mills was the Vice President of Sales for the
Bacchus Energy Drink Company during their expansion in the Los Angeles city
market place. In 2005 he established J. W. Mills & Associates — a training and
development company chartered to develop greatness in people and companies. His
company offers a wide selection of consultative practices and training/learning
seminars designed to meet and challenge the needs of his clients. Mr. Mills' ability
to create hearty, frank and decisive presentations that inspire people to go beyond
ordinary has earned him accolades from colleagues and industry competitors alike.
He has experienced outstanding results with interventions in unsatisfactory sales
and profitability performance, employee turnover, and ineffective succession
planning programs. His expertise as a general manger for satellite business entities
(non-corporate environment) is beyond reproach.

Mr. Mills is also an experienced college instructor having worked in a full-time and
part-time capacity for two universities. Currently he teaches "Strategic
Management" in the College of Business and Economics at Cal-State University,

Mr. Mills holds both an undergraduate degree in business administration (BBA)
and a Masters Degree in leadership & counseling from Eastern Michigan
University. He is a member of the The Institute of Management Consultants, The
American Society for Training and Development, and California State University Fullerton, Academic Assessment Committee.

Mr. Mills is a Vietnam veteran, is married to Ruth Anne who is completing her 15th
year as an educator in the Orange County Saddleback School District — they have
one son, Jack Jr. Jack and his family reside in Mission Viejo, California.

Bill Dreger's career in business spans 32 years across four companies in the insurance and beverage industries; Metropolitan Life, Miller Brewing Co., SABMiller, and MillerCoors. He has led corporate and field organizations since 1987, managing
businesses producing up to one billion dollars in annual revenue, and organizations of between 25 and 125 people. He has been a senior leader as Region Vice President since 2002, rising to officer of the company at Miller Brewing Co. He has learned to thrive in change as his career has seen him through 13 relocations, 16 roles, responsibilities in 34 states, for 10 different CEO's.

Bill has extensive experience and skill in leading teams through transformation. He has consistently demonstrated the ability to build high performance cultures and winning organizations that produce exceptional results. As the leader of the Texas Model Market initiative, Bill's work helped form the basis of the MillerCoors field structure, and contributed to the SABMiller "marketing way"—a marketing segmentation model adopted by all global operating companies. As Region Vice President of MillerCoors' MidAtlantic Region, Bill successfully merged the cultures of two former competitors to create a new vision of the combined organization, a new business process and management routines to sustain the transformation.

As President of Competere Leadership Consulting, Bill is launching a second career and is passionate about sharing his leadership experiences and techniques with others, living out the meaning of the word Competere, and serving his company's motto..."Striving together to build leadership capability. Mr. Dreger attended the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, MD,. 1974 - 1976. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics from Graceland College, Lamoni, IA. Mr. Dreger participated in SABMiller's Leadership Conferences in Johannesburg, South Africa, Shanghai, China and New Delhi, India. He is certified in Situational Leadership—Blanchard, and Solution Selling—Miller Brewing Co. and the Commercial Leadership Way—Lynch.
Mr. Dreger is married and has three children. He is a resident of Keller, TX, and splits time between there and his home in Charlotte, NC. He is a veteran of the US Navy.
